At Home

From mid-way through pre-primary through to Year 2 students take home structured reading books.  Children benefit from sharing their reading with an adult every school night for a short period.

We encourage you to read to your child regularly even when they can read for themselves.  Our library has a large up to date collection which students are encouraged to borrow from.

Learning addition and subtraction facts and times tables at home also support children’s learning in school.

Based on research and feedback from our community, we do not set formal tasks as homework.

You can access a variety of Department of Education publications to support your child at home Resources for Parents

In the event of school closure, our online learning platform is Connect.  Connect is free and very safe as it is managed by the Department of Education.  If you or your child are missing your Connect login details, please contact the Front Office.
