PBS
Denmark Primary School’s (DPS) Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Plan exists to explicitly outline the responsibilities and expectations of all stakeholders (students, staff, parents and caregivers) associated with the school to create a safe, orderly, inclusive, supportive and culturally responsive learning environment.
The plan outlines the necessary expectations, requirements, procedures, and supports, to assist stakeholders in upholding these responsibilities, to create an environment where undesirable behaviours are more likely to be reduced in frequency and severity.
Through explicit teaching, positive reinforcement, and restorative practices, we aim to foster a culture where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
