Ninja Facts Home Maths Practice Program

At our school, we are very proud of the progress and achievements our students have made in Mathematics particularly in recent years. The Ninja Facts program provides families with an opportunity to practise important maths facts at home and support students to become more confident and automatic in their recall of number facts.

How does Ninja Facts work?

Students receive a Ninja Passport and work through the Ninja Levels, with each level increasing in difficulty. Each week, students can come to the library before school or during recess or lunch to be tested on one of the operations in their current level. Students earn a stamp in their Ninja Passport each time they successfully pass an operation, continuing week by week until all operations for that level are complete.

Once students have completed all the required operations for a colour level, they will be presented with a Ninja badge at an assembly to celebrate their achievement.

The badges have been designed and made by our student councillors.

How can you practice at home?

We encourage families to aim for short, regular practice sessions throughout the week. A few minutes of practice can make a big difference in helping students develop quick and confident recall of their number facts.
